About Me

My name is Will and I am a musician and songwriter from Birmingham, UK. My love of music began when I was 13 years old, when I received my very first guitar. The moment I picked it up, I was hooked, spending most of my free time practicing until my fingers were sore. I knew from early on that I wanted to write my own music, inspired by my favourite bands like Green Day and Blink 182. This sent me on a path to discover I had a knack for hooks and melodies, and every chance I got I would be writing new songs that I thought no one would ever hear. 

That was until I received my very first recording equipment, a small 8 track which opened up a whole new world. Recording my own material became an obsession, and from there I taught myself to play drums and bass, enough to get by at least, to start my very own one man band from my bedroom.

Soon after I joined my very first band, this was a massive step in my development as a musician, as it allowed me to share my ideas with other like minded players and gave me confidence in the material I was producing. I was hearing my songs played live for the very first time, and it was a feeling of pride and excitement I had never felt before. 

I later joined a band in college, and we instantly knew we had something special. We were lucky enough to embark on a tour across the UK, earning ourselves a decent fan base. We were fortunate enough to have our music played on the radio, as well as being featured on all streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. 

Since then I have continued pursuing my passion for songwriting, performing and producing. Music I have self recorded and produced has had radio play, and has been featured on playlists on Spotify. My live show is now a one man act, with the help of backing tracks I record myself to give it that full band feel.
